Bio:
Jill Stevens was born in Chicago, IL. Though she was the 4th generation of her family to be born in Chicago, she was raised in Plantation, FL, a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale. At 18 she moved to Columbus, OH to attend the Ohio State University and study psychology. It was there that she first became interested in natural and holistic medicine. Through various modalities, including, Reiki, Reflexology, Personal therapy, and of course Traditional Chinese Medicine, she overcame 2 of her own long term chronic conditions. It was through her own healing the she realized Acupuncture and Chinese medicine would be her calling. She moved to San Francisco to attend the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & has lived there ever since.
Jill currently lives in the Alamo Square neighborhood of San Francisco with her 2 kitties, Teven & Pancake.

Education & License:
Jill Stevens, is an licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in the state of California. In addition, she is a diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She received her Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as her certification in Traditional Shiatsu Massage from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. Jill continued her education of natural medicine for children through the Holistic Pediatric Trainings associated with the national organization The Holistic Pediatric Association. She has spent more than 700 hours learning to treat children holistically. She recently completed a doula training program to help incorporate acupuncture into the birth process for women.
Private Practice & Other Works:
Jill primarily works out of her private practice in Emeryville, CA. In addition, she supplements her private practice work by treating people through community acupuncture in the City of San Francisco's Welfare to Work program's mental health services. Combining her private practice work with community acupuncture for the underserved in San Francisco she is able to follow her heart & find her true calling in natural and integrative medicine.
